Kilimohai Day at the Arusha Farmers' Market

Tomorrow, Saturday 1st April is the monthly Arusha farmers market powered by Mesula. The event will be held at the Oikos East Africa compound, plot 165 Haile Selassie Road, Arusha.

Organic products (bidhaa za kilimohai in kiswahili) are grown and prepared following organic standards which prohibit the use of harmful chemicals and protect the farmer, consumer and the environment.

The Arusha Farmers' Market, held every first Saturday of each month, hosts vendors of homemade foods, cheeses, organic fruits and vegetables and more. Tomorrow we will be joined by more organic farmers working with Floresta Tanzania who are coming from Moshi, as well as organic researchers, chefs and a doctor. All of these experts will be able to explain why you should choose organic.

This is a great opportunity for you to source organic products for your family's diet, your business's menu or just if you'd like to know more about the organic sector.
